FantasyJi is an online application which works on the model of drafting sports players into respective user teams and based on the real-life​ performance of the players accumulates points for the players chosen. The winner of a particular league is decided upon the maximum aggregate points accumulated by the chosen players of a specific user.

FantasyJi has three formats in which the gameplay is divided.

1) Tournament Leagues: This is a format for which a group of users (2 to 10) play in a single league and all the players pick their teams for the entire
2) Daily Matches: This is a format for which a group of users (2 to 6) play in a single league and all the users pick their teams for the particular match
3) Select11: 11 players are selected for a specific match or a group of matches with substitutions allowed between matches.

Creating a League:

Select if you want to create a league for an entire tournament or for a daily match from the home screen. Then click on the “create a league” button from the pop up at the bottom.

Joining a Private League:

Click on Private Leagues option from the bottom options. You can join a league by clicking on the tournament or the daily match. Enter the league code provided to you by the league manager. On the next screen, you will see the details of the league along with the teams that have already joined. Click on the “Join League” to join the league.

Joining a Public League:

You can join a league by clicking on the tournament or the daily match option on the homepage. Select whether you want to join a tournament league or just a single match from the options available. Make sure to check the date and time of the draft to make sure you are available for the draft

My Leagues:

You can view all the leagues that you have created or joined by clicking on “My Leagues” from the bottom of the home screen. This section is divided into upcoming matches, In Progress & Completed.

Drafting :

Auction

This format is only applicable in tournament leagues. In this format, all the users are present in a draft room at one particular time. Each user’s team is given a purse value to use for the auction. The players appear one by one on the screen and each team starts the auction process to bid for that player. The highest bidder gets that player in their team. This process continues till each team has either exhausted their purse value or has taken the maximum number of players allowed.

Snake

This format is applicable in tournament leagues and daily matches. In this format, all the users are present in a draft room at one particular time. One by one the users get to choose any player of their choice in an order randomly decided by the system. This process continues till each team has picked the maximum number of players allowed.

Scoring:

Scores are updated after every over for an on-going tournament or a daily match. Players can view their league scores by going to the “My Leagues” page and viewing the leagues that are either in progress or completed.

Restrictions:
However keeping in mind the gameplay & the fact that there are leagues where real money is involved, we have enforced the following restrictions.

• Fantasyji has an age restriction of 18+
• Fantasyji has private & public leagues where the public leagues are only accessible to the audience of India
barring the states of Assam, Nagaland, Sikkim, Odisha & Telangana.
• We take the country code during the signup which allows us to restrict the real money leagues to the
audience outside India.
• Before joining any paid league the user has to certify their age being 18+

Hence, Fantasyji takes strict measures to ensure that the paid version of the game is only available in India & for an audience which is 18 and above.
